Virginia's Crooked Tree shows the Big Otter River as it runs through the Claytor Nature Center which is just north of Bedford, VA. I was drawn by the rushing water but remained because of the tree. The American Hornbeam's trunk grows almost horizontally towards the light while its branches grow vertically. We should lean towards God's light and raise our arms in praise.
