This is a studio painting done from plein air studies and digital photos in Yosemite National Park. The view is of Nevada and Vernal Falls observed on a trail near Glacier Point! This is the only area that you can observe both falls at the same time! I first did the PA study than painted the studio painting in my studio at home from the study with an assist from my digital photos.
