Last month visiting Lunenburg Nova Scotia I traveled a few miles along the coat to a small Atlantic Fishing Village of Blue Rocks. I sketched and painted in oil small 6x8 of the old fishing shacks and then the next day I decided to paint a 7x14 inchoil on a cradle board that I brought with me on this trip. I spent about 3 1/2 hours on this painting. I was inspired by the clouds rolling in the distance.
