This is a plein air canvas painted in oil during a spell of good weather in the west of Ireland in June 2023. I painted on the deck in the back garden. The brightness of the colour of the privet hedge matched the sunlight dappled grass. the smoke bush on the left compliments the greens of the lush foliage.
