Isla Maggiore is in the Tuscany region of Italy. Fishermen still go out early in the morning to for the freshest catch to sell to restaurants. By mid-morning you will find the fishermen's nets drying on lines strung along the old buildings. This is a soft pastel painting on Sennelier LaCarte sanded surface.
