Let’s Play Fetch

This acrylic painting on canvas was inspired by a walk with my mother near Pismo Beach, CA. We saw this woman and I asked if I could take her photo for a reference to paint. He dark hair and white flowing dress was so striking against the myriad of blues in the surf. I enjoyed closely inspecting each color and layering glazes of paint to achieve the look.
