As the sun descended quickly the golden and warm hues of the sky lit up while the water's colors cooled down with the foggy Mendocino atmosphere on the headlines. I wanted to capture that ephemeral moment and did this one very quickly and did not go back into it after that moment as I feel this captures that evening with a brevity of brush strokes and detail.
