On a road trip with my neice we visited many places at the foot hills of the Southern Alps here in NZ. This view shows the sight of the scene in The Lord of the Rings, where the village of Endoras was built, on that rugged rocky outcrop of Mt Sunday. The light in the winter here often takes my breath away and that with this scene demanded to become a painting.
