The St. Joe is one of my favorite places close to home. Its status as a designated Wild and Scenic River is testament to the phenomenal landscapes here. This spot is one of my favorites to climb down to, balancing on the rocky shore, I love to sit and take in the sound of the water, watching the meditative qualities of the ever moving ripples. Often in deep shadow, the dappling of light along this bend is mesmerizing.
