I have always loved history and old houses, so I was very excited to be able to paint a portrait of Cedar Glade, Indiana's second oldest home! Located in Corydon, Indiana, the home is on the Register of National Historic Homes as The Kintner-McGrain House and was built in 1808 from local stone. I was especially drawn to the play of warm and cool light in this glowing nocturne scene!
