I started drawing in 2021 and this pastel is my 8th attempt at using pastels and 35th drawing ever. The inspiration was from a trip to Africa where I saw this cheetah mom calling for her cub that had been killed. Her remaining cub was begging for her attention. The morning was misty and somber.
