The Wind Before the Storm

Acrylic on cradled panel. As soon as I set up my easel, there came that rush of wind that signaled an impending rainstorm--a phenomenon I strove to capture in the painting. The clouds were a particular challenge to paint, since they kept changing from moment to moment.
