Pastel and pastel pencil on sanded paper. I came upon this scene on the South East coast of England. Walking on the shingle beach next to late filmmaker Derek Jarman's house, I was inspired by the gloomy atmosphere of the wind, clouds and Dungeness Power Station looming over the area.
