Blooms on Wikham Marsh

I painted this while participating in the Keeseville Community Arts Festival at a marsh that had lots of lily pads blooming. I was inspired to capture the essence of them with the was the reflection of the sky was surrounding them. I think I had a Monet afternoon, who was my inspiration for this. I used acrylic paint instead of oil just because a major summer storm was brewing in the background and I think I only had 2 hours before it would hit, so I thought it would be a bit more vibrant with my limited time and palette.
