Summer Fog

I learned early - no wishy-washy watercolors! And I do not. This was not an easy balance to achieve, a sensitive touch in order to depict summer fog in Newport, Oregon. Yaquina Bridge seemingly dissolves into the summer fog in the harbor. No air movement, so a sailboat resorts to motoring. The muted distant motor is the only sound carrying through the thickening fog.
